Liquid Metal

Anomic were one of the prize winners at Glow Festival in Italy with our brutal, dubstep focused abstract projection show.

 

 

Blackpool Christmas Special

Anomic were thrilled to be asked to design a fun, family friendly show for Blackpool Illuminations. We lit up the side of the Winter Gardens with a Christmas Spectacular

 

Blackpool Halloween 

After an excellent first project with the team at Blackpool Illuminations, Anomic really enjoyed producing a special Halloween show to feature on the iconic Blackpool Tower.

 

 

Blackpool Illuminations

Anomic were brought in as projection mapping consultants and animation supervisors for the breathtaking projection mapping shows on Blackpool Tower as part of the Illuminations.

 

 

S400 @ Guildhall Yard

As part of his role at GSMD Dan was recently involved in the amazing S400 projection mapping at Guildhall yard. 15,000 people showed up to watch!

 

 

Oxford Christmas Lights

Anomic were comissioned by Oxford City Council to project a dynamic new show Re:action onto the  Clarendon Building, in Broad Street. The show was based on the theme of light and energy and was part of the Christmas Market Festival. 

Magna Carta 800

Through his role at GSMD Dan was invited to design a new projection show for Guildhall Yard celebrating the 800 year anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta.

Automated Screen Mapping

 

In October 2014 Anomic did a collaboration with Simon Bond, Dan's colleague from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This was an attempt to use the new Isadora 2.0 software to video map a series of moving screens. We will be following this up with phase 2 in early 2015!

 

 

 

Gravity Fields Festival

In September 2014 we video mapped St Walfrums Church in Grantham as part of the Graity Field Festival.

 

Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red

 

In August 2014 we were very proud to be part of the astonishing installation at The Tower of London. We marked the offical opening of the work by video mapping a centre section of the tower.

 

 

Park - Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company

Dan did the video design for the re-staging of Jasmin Vardimon's smash hit 'Park'.

 

Glastonbury Festival

Anomic and Guildhall video mapped The Temple at The Common at Glastonbury Festival 2014, 2015 and 2016!

 

 

Boy Blue Ent. R&D

Anomic did a really interesting R&D week at The Barbican with the amazing Boy Blue Ent.

 

 

 

 

Milton Court Theatre  Opening Gala

In September 2013 Dan Shorten did the video design for an event celebrating the opening of The Guildhall School's brand new theatre at Milton Court.

 

 

Inside Out Festival

Anomic's projection mapping show 'Bending Light' was presented at The Inside Out Festival in Oct 2013.

 

 

Chapter 6: Life...

Presented “Chapter 6:Life” at Busan International Performing Arts Festival, Busan, South Korea. A lively and energetic fusion of dance and video projection. This piece is due to be re-staged in 2015/16 and tour the UK.

 

 

Barbican Garden Room Launch

A 3 dimentional sculpture and video mapping event.

 

 

CSU Summer Arts

A series of workshops with over 30 students from across California culminating in an hour long performance of newly devised material.

 

 

LUX Helsinki

A large scale interactive video installation. Motion tracking audiences movements to trigger video components projected onto a 30mx5m wall.

 

 

Creative Works Launch Event City Hall

Video Designer for launch event for CreativeWorks London, held at City Hall London, hosted by the Mayor of London. Live music by The Broken Hearts.
 

 

 

Barbican Digital Weekender

A series of interactive video mapping installations at The Barbican Centre. The public could control the video surfaces through a range of devices including iPads, Webcams and even water...

 

Such Stuff as Dreams

A multimedia interpretation of Shakespeare's classic 'The Tempest'.

 

 

The Sum of it All

A full scale touring production that started at Edinburgh Fringe before traveling the UK. Highly physical combination of movement, storytelling and video screens.
